Most people nowadays look up an individual’s or company’s LinkedIn profile before they meet with them. This makes sense, as IBM recently conducted a study which indicated that 60% of the decision making process is complete before someone reaches out to a sales person, recruiter, or company. People form an opinion of your organisation based on what they find out about you on LinkedIn.
However, most organisations put little to no effort into shaping their online LinkedIn presence – the belief is that each individual’s profile is personal to them. Nothing could be further from the truth!
